Modern Family’s Julie Bowen Celebrates Twins’ 1st Birthday
Actress Julie Bowen had her hands full of children last Friday at The Coop in Studio City, Calif, where she threw a birthday bash for 1-year-old twins Johnny and Gus.
The party was organized to raise money and supplies for Baby2Baby, a charity founded in 2006 by Marnie Owens, Lee Michel and Karis Jagger (Mick Jagger’s daughter) that donates gently used baby items to families in need.
Bowen, 39, has been involved with Baby2Baby since the birth of her oldest son, Oliver, 3.
“Honestly, [the twins] have more than enough stuff and there are so many families in Los Angeles that don’t even have the bare necessities,” the Modern Family star tells UsMagazine.com. “So if I can take two over-privileged kids’ birthdays and use it as an opportunity to get other kids the stuff they need, I’m overjoyed to do that.”

Spoilers for MODERN FAMILY
Any scoop on what’s in store for my favorite [MODERN] FAMILY as the season comes to a [tear] end? — Maya
The TV Addict: If this were any other show, we’d tease the fantastic May 19th season ender by revealing that… [cue ominous music]… nothing will ever be the same for America’s funniest family thanks to an unexpected intruder in Mitchell and Cam’s humble abode and a philandering Phil which culminates in a fight between the Dunphey/Pritchett clan that almost teas them apart. But since this isn’t a very special episode of LAW & ORDER, we’ll simply say the intruder is a bird, Phil is just being Phil, and America’s favorite family ends the season exactly how it started, on a high note.

Talking About the Naughty Bits with Eric Stonestreet of ‘Modern Family
PopEater interviewed Eric after they named Jesse and him the best couple on TV. Here are some of the hightlights of the interview:
Are you amazed at the reaction to you guys?
I would say I’m not amazed at the non-reaction, meaning the sort of people having a problem with it. But we are all amazed at how open and generous and kind people are at how our relationship and the show has affected their lives. I thought people would be like, “Oh, I really like your show,” not, “Your show has given me something to look forward to every week, thank you for being able to see myself on TV for the first time.” It’s just really over and above nice compliments. That 100 percent has been surprising.
You raised pigs. Any pig raising tips?
Pigs don’t have sweat glands, so you have to give them a nice place to cool off. That’s why pigs wallow in mud, to cool down. You never want to get between a momma pig and her baby because she will protect her young. I got charged by a pig growing up and she bit my belt buckle off of my jeans — that’s how close she got to getting my naughty bits.

Who Needs Obama? We’ve Got Eric and Jane!
E! went to the stars of Modern Family and Glee to see if they think their TV shows are doing anything to shape society’s viewpoints of the LGBTQ community, or if it’s purely entertainment.
Here is what Eric said:
“I think [our show] is a great opportunity to educate people. Our goal is to make people laugh, for sure, but while we’re making people laugh, we want to open their minds that two men can raise a baby and give it love, a future and a life. That’s icing on the cake for the show and the role. We just hope people like what we do.”
