Lucky Lily has two doting daddies, couple Cameron and Mitchell, who adopted her from Vietnam in the series pilot. They sometimes argue over how best to raise her — Cam, for example, has a tough time letting her cry in the night, as the Ferber method of baby-raising suggests, and likes to watch ‘Scarface’ with her (the colors of the movie calm her, he says — but they both love and care for Lily (Ella and Jaden Hiller), as does the rest of the Pritchett/Tucker/Dunphy clan.

‘Modern Family’: Sofia Vergara wants Al Pacino to play father
Sofia Vergara has more than ambitious plans when it comes to her role in ABC‘s “Modern Family.” As a matter of fact, the Emmy-nominated actress toldWENN that she would love to go after living big-screen legend Al Pacino to play the character of her father:
“In some other season, we should go to Cartagena and meet Gloria’s family in Colombia. I was telling [the producers] that they need to [cast] Al Pacino [as] my father, talking like Tony Montana.”

‘Modern Family’ Sarah Hyland on sharing a bed with Julie Bowen
“Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland is looking forward to Wednesday’s (Nov. 3) episode “Chirp,” when her character Haley spends quality time with her mom Claire (Julie Bowen) when they both fall sick and stay home.
“That’s really cute. Me and Julie in bed all day,” Hyland tells Zap2it. “It was awesome. Just laying down in bed together, which is my boyfriend’s dream. Who doesn’t like Julie Bowen? She’s the sexiest mom alive.”

‘Modern Family’ joke offends Peruvians
The people of Peru are not happy with a joke that was featured on this week’s episode of Modern Family, reports The Associated Press.
The controversy stems from Sofia Vergara‘s character, Gloria, who responds to her husband’s quip about Colombia with her own insult. “Ah, here we go,” Gloria begins to respond. “Because, in Colombia, we trip over goats and we kill people in the street. Do you know how offensive that is? Like we’re Peruvians!”
Shortly after the episode aired, Vegara, who like her character is also a native of Colombia, received a large volume of insulting tweets, according to the wire service, with some demanding an explanation for the line.
