On Wednesday, February 5, 2014, Broadway’s Noah Weisberg will reprise his recurring role as “Brett” on the Emmy Award-winning hit television comedy ”Modern Family,” airing at 9 p.m. ET (8 p.m. CT) on the ABC Network. In the new episode titled “iSpy,” Claire and Phil decide to spy on Luke and Manny as they’re hanging out with one of their more questionable friends. Meanwhile, Gloria is furious with Jay because she thinks he had a dream about another woman, but Jay misinterprets her anger for another offense he committed. And, Cam secretly uses Mitch as a scapegoat to get out of attending a party, while Haley tries to keep her photography exhibit a secret from her family. Weisberg’s most recent guest appearance on “Modern Family” was in the January 2013 episode titled “Fulgencio.”

‘Modern Family’ hits season low: Why are ratings slipping?

February 10, 2013 by · 2 Comments

Earlier this season “Modern Family” was the highest-rated comedy on TV. But CBS’ Thursday king The Big Bang Theory has since climbed to top the weekly chart hitting recent season highs, and Modern Family has slipped to No. 2 and relinquished its crown.

What’s behind the slippage? EW thinks it might be the lead-in show Neighbors , the competition with Fox’s American Idol, and Modern Family’s rather ambitious and creatively complex with a large cast.
What do you think?

‘Modern Family’ Cast Reaches Deal to End Salary Standoff

After a summer of heated salary negotiations that led to a lawsuit, the cancellation (and subsequent rescheduling) of a table read and a tense week of back-and-forth negotiations, the six adult actors on ABC’s top-rated comedy have agreed in principle to new contracts with producer 20th Century Fox Television.

The end to the messy stalemate allows the fourth season of the Emmy-winning comedy to begin production on time next week in advance of its Sept. 26 premiere. The series is a profit center for both 20th TV and ABC, for which it regularly draws 13.1 million viewers, according to Nielsen. In 2011, Modern Family generated $164 million in advertising revenue for ABC, up 40 percent from a year earlier, reports Kantar Media.
