Ellen DeGeneres Offers To Be Ann Romney’s Roommate On ‘Modern Family’
When Ann Romney revealed that “Modern Family” is her favorite TV show, the comedy’s co-creator Steve Levitan fired back, offering her a role as the officiant of Cam and Mitch’s wedding … when gay marriage is legalized.
Comedian and daytime talk show hostEllen DeGeneres jokingly added her voice to the entertainment-meets-politics debate Thursday. DeGeneres tweeted that she’d like to guest star on “Modern Family” in the unlikely-to-ever-happen scene as Mrs. Romney’s character’s roommate.

For 2-6 players; Ages Teen-Adult;
Players join in the fun of Modern Family’s three related families as they test their trivia knowledge of this hit TV show. There are five types of special spaces you can land on. Each type of special space has a corresponding deck of cards including: Parenting, Family, Modern, Interview and Event cards. By selecting the cards, players may be asked to answer trivia questions, play out a charade and discuss interview topics and family events. By completing the action on the cards, players receive tokens.
Once your team has collected all 30 tokens, you must get your mover home. The player to visit each household and get back to their TV viewing couch first wins!

“Modern Family” is shot on the Fox Studio Lot in Los Angeles, CA. This certificate is valid during Season 3 of production (tentatively scheduled for mid-August 2011 through mid-March 2012) for the winner and is non-transferable. Winner must be at least 18 years of age. Photography is not permitted without approval. Date and time are contingent upon Production approval and we reserve the right to postpone or reschedule due to the unpredictable nature of production and the confidentiality of some storylines. In the event there is a closed set or if a Force Majeure occurs (i.e. labor strike, natural disaster and/or any other event beyond the control of Production) reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule at the earliest opportunity. Hitting New Replay Highs, ABC’s Modern Family is Wednesday’s #1 Scripted TV Show
At 9pm, ABC’s repeat Modern Family won its half-hour by 17% in Adults 18-49, dominating Fox’s original Idol-fueled Human Target. In factABC’s encore Modern Family stood as the #1 scripted television program on Wednesday in the key young adult sales demo, finishing as the #2 TV show overall on the night to Idol.
- For the 2nd week running, Modern Family put up the series’ best-ever repeat numbers, eclipsing the prior week’s results by 26% in Total Viewers and by 35% in Adults 18-49.
