Eric Stonestreet, “Modern Family”, In “Bad Teacher”
Eric Stonestreet is going to be busy in his summer vacation from Modern Family. Eric along with Justin Timberlake and Molly Shannon have been added to the cast of Jake Kasdan’s “Bad Teacher,” Sony Pictures announced Tuesday.
The film stars Cameron Diaz as a foul-mouthed junior-high teacher trying to woo a colleague, played by Jason Segel.
The project, which will begin production later this month, is produced by Mosaic’s Jimmy Miller.

PALEY FESTIVAL: ABC’S “MODERN FAMILY”
The cast and crew of Modern Family (Steve Levitan, Jason Winer, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Sofia Vergara, Ed O’Neill, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Eric Stonestreet) were the guests of the Modern Family panel at the Paley Festival last night.
If you want a full line by line of what happened – check The Futon Critic.
Here are some highlights from EW’s visit to the panel:
Funny guy Ty Burrell earned the biggest applause from the audience. Sofia Vergara also got a cheer for not playing the typical golddigger and proved to be very popular among her coworkers. In addition to getting praised for her comedic skills, Burrell joked that “we Google her everyday.” “I’m Googling her right now,” Eric Stonestreet added.
Spoilers: Bowen recently filmed a scene at the Grove shopping plaza in Los Angeles, in which she gets into a brawl with a security guard. Fred Willard will return as Phil’s father.
Will Mitchell and Cameron ever show some physical affection for each other? Stonestreet said they’re too busy raising a child, but if the show goes on for many more seasons, it’ll happen “in due time.”
Eric Stonestreet – “I’m single and I’m available”
The NY Post has an interview with Eric Stonestreet, Cam from Modern Family. In the interview he talks about the women of NY city, admiring what he calls their “directness” and “honesty.”, and stating:
“I’m single and I’m available,” he announces.
“Maybe The Post could find me the lady of my dreams. I’d be happy to be bicoastal. That’s bi-coastal, not bisexual!”
He also talked about his partner on the show, Ferguson:
“He’s gay and I’m straight and we have fun with that,” Stonestreet says. “After I got the part, we decided to meet for coffee and get to know each other. In the middle of it, we realized it was Valentine’s Day and we were surrounded by lovers! That was a funny way to start off.”

Eric Stonestreet – Funny Or Die
It is a rerun night of Modern Family, so how about some Eric Stonestreet in Funny Or Die (which we found on his personal website).
Have fun and stay in school (to all those people who tweeted that they are ditching school to watch Modern Family).
Top TV Loving Couples On Valentine’s Day
Happy Valentine’s day!
Rob Salem has ranked the TV top 25 loving couples, and the number one couple is Cameron and Mitchell from Modern Family (although some of you complained to our Twitter @modernfamilytv – they haven’t kissed on screen yet… ABC – we are waiting):
Of the three married couples depicted in the family-friendly domestic comedy, the Mutt-and-Jeff gay mates are the most popular with kids.
“I think it’s a Bert and Ernie thing,” suggests Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who plays the somewhat straitlaced lawyer, Mitch.
“I just like that they’re being handled as a regular couple. It’s not that they’re gay, that’s farther down on the list … but, you know, they’re new parents, they’re partners …
“I’ve been on a show where they, like, had to refer to me as the `gay’ character five times, just to remind people. And I’m like, `They get it, they get it.’ But with this, I think it’s just Cameron and Mitchell, and that’s what I really love about it. I think that itself unfortunately is unique …”
“It’s slowly getting less unique,” offers Eric Stonestreet, a.k.a. the “drama queen” Cam. “Just a couple of guys who live together who adopted a baby … it’s an opportunity to sort of, not educate, you know, but just open peoples’ minds to the idea that families come in all different shapes and sizes.”
Modern Family Scoops
Modern Family scoops from TV Guide:
The cast spilled their guts to us during a visit to the Los Angeles set. Oddly, their teases all involved undressing. “Cameron challenges Jay to a racquetball match and their butts might touch in the locker room,” Eric Stonestreet reports. Meanwhile, Jesse Tyler Ferguson indicated that Mitchell “might end up in an article of clothing that is not mine” — and doesn’t belong to any other male cast member either. Julie Bowen keeps it simple: “Naked, hotel lobby and flying underwear — just chew on that for a while.” Not enough? How about this? Fizbo flashback!

Modern Family is Back!
We hope you enjoyed the new episode of Modern Family.
Here is a scoop about Fizbo from zap2it:
Any scoop on my favorite “Modern Family” man Cameron? -Jenna
Look forward to another appearance from Fizbo the Clown. We’ll be seeing him again. I know for sure that Cam (Eric Stonestreet) will flash back to a Fizbo escapade of yesteryear later this season. He’ll also be spending some quality alone time with Gloria (Sofia Vergara) soon, and the pair will be able to talk about the bizarre family they both married into.
2009 TV Yearbook

The end of the year is coming closer and everyone has their top 2009 list, this time coming from Poptimal another vote to Modern Family actors:
DRAMA KING & QUEEN: Rachel Berry & Cameron Tucker
Glee is arguably the debut show of the year, and its success is in large part due to its lead and her voice. As an unknown to relatively anyone outside of the Broadway world, Lea Michele was given the opportunity to fully mold and embody Rachel, the girl with the undeniable talent who is almost impossible to ignore. And never did TV make dysfunctional families look so good than on Modern Family. Eric Stonestreet steals scenes as Cam with his hilarious flair for the dramatic and his lovable individuality. Whether focusing on his devotion to his partner Mitchell, his love for newly adopted Lily or his enthusiasm as Fizbo the Clown, Cam is always the center of attention.
