Modern Family Giveaway Winner
If you remember in last week’s episode 4 of Modern Family we saw Dede Pritchett (Shelley Long) offensive toast at the wedding of her ex-husband, Jay, to his young new bride, Gloria. And we want to hear from you what was the worst wedding moment in a wedding that you have been at.
Well, the winner of the giveaway is Jamie, and here is her story:
My worst wedding moment was pretty simple and minor. We had a small wedding and in order to walk down the isle, my dad and I had to walk outside first. We heard the music start and went to enter, but found that the door was locked. The song played a few times before someone realized I didn’t have cold feet, I just couldn’t get in!

My husband and I went to get our marriage license and be married at City Hall. The clerk took information and typed up the appropriate forms. Then she got to the field that asked for my last name. Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson on “The View”
“Modern Family” stars Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson were on “The View” today. They play a gay couple who recently adopted an infant from Vietnam. The story hits home with Jesse; he’s a professional and active gay man . Eric is “openly straight” and had hoped doing the show would get him a lot of girls. He said he gets calls, but mostly from “burly men”.
Jesse uses three names “so the bastards who made fun of me in high school know who I am”. Jesse wants to dress as Lady Gaga for Halloween.

An Interview with Julie Bowen from Modern Family
Chicago Tribune has an interview with Julie Bowen, the “Modern Family” actress, on which she plays the mother of three.
Bowen brings the same extra-sparkly girl-next-door quality to her new show that she has been displaying on TV since starring opposite Tom Cavanagh in 2000 on “Ed.”
From that series, she went on to “Boston Legal” while appearing in recurring roles on such shows as “ER,” “Weeds” and “Lost.”

ABC Changes Modern Family episode schedule order
Here is an update on Modern Family episode 5:
“Coal Digger” – The whole family is invited to Jay and Gloria’s for some barbeque and football. However an earlier incident at school between Manny and Luke makes things very awkward for Gloria and Claire, and then things escalate when a not-so-flattering label is uttered, on “Modern Family,” WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21 (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
Note: This episode replaces “Run for Your Wife” which now moves to October 28.
“En Garde” will now air on November 4.

It’s the first day of school for the families. With all of the kids out of the house, Phil misreads how Claire is dealing with the empty house. Jay and Gloria have a disagreement over Manny’s choice of an outfit for his first day of school. Also, Mitchell and Cameron become very upset when they find out that Lily suffered her first bump to the head.
