Modern Family’s New Lily: “Quite the Scene Stealer”
How’s the new Lily fitting in around set?
“She’s very sweet,” Ferguson told E! at Audi and David Yurman’s Pre-Emmy party at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood. “It’s definitely going from 0 to 100 because our last little girls, Ella and Jaden, the adorable Hiller twins, were a bit catatonic, which is kind of what made them charming. And Aubrey is the exact opposite. She’s a talker. She jumps into anyone’s arms…I think people will really fall in love with her and she’ll be quite the scene stealer.”

Actor is more than Modern Family role
Eric Stonestreet sighs slightly when asked if some people are disappointed at finding out he’s not gay like the flamboyant character he plays with such zeal on Modern Family.
Some devoted fans of the TV sitcom have criticized him on Twitter for cussing or doing things they believe his character Cameron Tucker wouldn’t.
Others who maintain they can’t see him as anyone but Cam even said they were surprised to see him in this summer’s Bad Teacher, a raunchy comedy about a foul-mouthed, junior high school teacher played by Cameron Diaz.
“That’s the sort of thing I’ve got to stop caring about,” said Stonestreet, 39, who will be hosting a show at Montreal’s Just For Laughs comedy festival next week.
“People are disappointed sometimes but I hope they understand that I’m an actor playing a character. They love the character and they might like me too if they give me a chance.”

‘Modern Family’ on the lookout for new Baby Lily
Modern Family has taken another step toward re-casting Baby Lily: The ABC comedy is spreading the word around the casting community that it is looking for an “Asian, 3-to 4-year-old” to play the daughter of Mitchell and Cameron. The role is currently played by Jaden and Ella Hiller, the docile and very quiet twins who have traded off portraying Lily for the last two seasons.
There is still a chance the Hillers will stay on the show, but the writers want to keep their options open.

Can Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet Do ‘Indie Edgy’?
Intriguing news on the indie front: Modern Family Emmy winner Eric Stonestreet — who plays gay clown school alum Cameron on the ABC sitcom — is in final talks to co-star in Loft, a thriller about married friends (including Patrick Wilson, James Marsden, and — also just-cast — Wentworth Miller) who bring their mistresses to the same loft and eventually discover an unknown woman dead in the space. It’s a tale of suspicion and deceit, and the man we know as Fizbo is joining the grisly ranks.
