Sneak Peeks – Modern Family 1.18 “Starry Night”
A new episode of Modern Family will be airing on March 24 and ABC has released three sneak peeks from the upcoming episode.
FAMILY BONDING CAN TAKE ON MANY DIFFERENT FORMS ON ABC’S “MODERN FAMILY”
“Starry Night” – Phil and Claire each tackle one of their kids’ school projects; Jay and Mitchell set out on their traditional father-son outing to see the meteor showers, but Mitchell is surprised to see Manny will be joining them; and with the boys gone, Gloria and Cameron go out for some quality bonding time, but not without a few mishaps, on “Modern Family,” WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24 (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
“Modern Family” stars Ed O’Neill as Jay Pritchett, Julie Bowen as Claire Dunphy, Ty Burrell as Phil Dunphy, Sof’a Vergara as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Mitchell Pritchett, Eric Stonestreet as Cameron, Sarah Hyland as Haley Dunphy, Nolan Gould as Luke Dunphy, Ariel Winter as Alex Dunphy and Rico Rodriguez as Manny Delgado.
Guest cast includes Lombardo Boyar as Jose.

Modern Family: Ty Burrell Is Now a Dad! So Will He Be Just Like Phil?
The Modern Family star and his wife, Holly, have adopted a baby girl, his rep has confirmed.
Ty Burrell said: “I guess if Phil can raise kids, so can I!”

Could You See Sophia Loren on ‘Modern Family’?

TV Squad asked Sofia Vergara who should play her character’s mom, and she chose legendary Italian actress Sophia Loren.
The 75-year-old Loren does bear some physical resemblance to Vergara, and she does have comic chops (Vergara cites Loren’s work in Marcello Mastroianni films). She also has recent experience playing a mother – her own mother, at that, in an Italian television biopic based her sister’s book, according to the Times of India.

“Modern Family” Preview: “Starry Night” Has Mitchell in a Dress?
We know that you can’t wait for a new episode of Modern Family, well you only have to wait till next week. Next week’s episode has Mitchell off bonding with Jay and Manny on a camping trip, while Cameron plans a night out to bond with Gloria. From the looks of things, neither venture goes well.

Delta Burke on ‘Modern Family’?

There’s a rumor buzzing around the Internet that Delta Burke will guest on ‘Modern Family’ as Cameron’s mother. TV Guide had something in the print edition, but the real culprit behind the tale is actor Eric Stonestreet who plays Cam. He said he would love Delta Burke to play his mama … and it’s a great idea.
Would you want to see Delta Burke as Cam’s mother or do you have better suggestions?

TV Ratings: Modern Family Rebounds

Of course FOX easily won another Wednesday night as American Idol cruised at 9pm. Still with a 7.5 adults 18-49 rating, Idol was down 12% versus last Wednesday, but FOX notes Idol retained 96% of the adults 18-49 audience from the comparable night in 2009.
Even against Idol, ABC’s comedy block held up. Modern Family was up 9% versus last week to a 3.7 adults 18-49 rating and with a 2.6 rating in adults 18-49, Cougar Town was up 13%.
