Facebook Campaign Seeks Modern Family Cameron-Mitchell Kiss

A “Let Cam & Mitchell kiss on Modern Family!” Facebook group was launched over the weekend, created as a response to the fact that the breakout ABC comedy’s gay couple (played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonesteet) has never locked lips, while heterosexual couple Phil (Ty Burrell) and Claire (Julie Bowen) have done so a number of times.

    It might just be a decision of the actors and what they're comfortable with. Nobody is right to demand this simply for the sake of entertainment.

    Jesse Tyler Ferguson's actually Tweeted a link to the petition, so he's obviously in favor of it. And Eric Stonestreet has kissed another actor in the indie comedy “Girls Will Be Girls,” so he probably wouldn't have a problem with it. I doubt it's due to any discomfort by the actors.
