The Bert and Ernie, "we're just couple of guys who live together and adopted a baby" thing is a complete cop-out and offensive. If Mitch and Cam are just two guys who live together and have a baby why did it matter a few episodes ago when Cam was not introduced as his father?

No one is saying that Modern Family needs to educate. It would be nice to see the gay couple treated the same way as the other two. Basically, it's completely okay to show that they're gay because they're dressing their baby up in old feather boas, but not by them showing any affection for each other?

If Mitch and Cam are truly going to be treating as Bert and Ernie, and if the actors portraying them see the couple as just two guys living together, I'm done with Modern Family.
