Ed O’Neil was bad choice… the red headed guy actor is not as convincing.. just not a good actor.  The acclaim the show gets appears to stem from political correctness… better casting would help Sophia was a good choice but only makes casting with O’Neil look like a budget saver.  O’Neil could not get lucky in a Vegas brothel with unlimited credit line.. and we are asked to accept him as Sophia’s main man?  Bad comedy prevails.
